Why Artificial Grass Makes Sense on the Costa Blanca
A natural lawn that works well in Northern Europe doesn't necessarily work well on the Costa Blanca. After more than 20 years installing artificial grass in Spain, and more than 30 years of wider landscaping and garden design experience, we have seen first-hand what makes lawns succeed — and what makes them fail. The Costa Blanca brings long, dry periods, strong summer sun and high demand for irrigation. Then there are the gardens themselves. We regularly work with properties where the ground is uneven, compacted, full of builders' rubble, sloping or simply unsuitable for growing a good natural lawn. Existing terraces and other hard surfaces can present a completely different set of possibilities. Artificial grass isn't simply about replacing natural grass. From the first site visit to the finished lawn, we take care of the process from assessment and preparation through to installation and final inspection.
Site Survey
We visit your property, measure the area and look at the existing space, access and surface. We also discuss how you want to use the finished area.
Site Assessment
We assess the ground and identify what preparation is required. Soil, rubble, levels, slopes, drainage and existing hard surfaces can all affect how the installation needs to be approached.
Grass Selection
We help you choose the right artificial grass for your property and how you intend to use it. Different grasses have different characteristics, so choosing the product is part of getting the finished result right.
Quotation
Once we understand the site and the work involved, we provide a clear quotation covering the grass, installation and required materials, with preparation costs based on the actual requirements of your property.
Ground Preparation
Where preparation is required, we create the appropriate base for the installation, including excavation, levelling and base preparation. Getting this stage right is fundamental to a flat, stable and long-lasting lawn.
Professional Installation
We accurately cut and position the grass, taking care with joins, direction, edges and fixing. Artificial grass can look simple once finished, but handling large rolls and creating good joins takes experience.
Quality Inspection
Before we leave, we check the finished installation, including the joins, edges, fixing and overall appearance, to make sure the work has been completed properly.
Finished & Ready to Enjoy
We finish the lawn ready for use, including final brushing and cleaning of the installation area. You are then left with a finished outdoor space ready to enjoy.
