Artificial grass can often be repaired without replacing the whole lawn. Damaged areas, lifted edges, failed joins, burns and pet damage may all be repairable, depending on the condition of the grass and the extent of the problem.
We assess each installation individually and tell you honestly what we believe can be repaired, what may need replacing and what the most practical solution is.

We regularly hear from property owners who have problems with an existing artificial grass installation. Sometimes the original installer is no longer available; sometimes the installation has simply developed a problem; and sometimes the workmanship was not what it should have been in the first place.
We assess the installation as we find it. We don't need to know who installed it to work out what is wrong and what can realistically be done.
With more than 20 years specialising in artificial grass installation on the Costa Blanca, we've encountered a wide range of installation problems. We understand how the grass should be positioned, joined and secured, and we can often identify whether the problem is with the grass itself, the installation or the preparation underneath.
Where possible, we'll repair what is there. We've carried out everything from partial re-lays to complete replacement installations, depending on the condition of the existing grass and the underlying work.
Sometimes the Repair Is the Easy Part
A repair can sound simple until you start taking an existing installation apart.
A failed join, for example, may be straightforward to re-secure. But if the original grass was cut incorrectly, laid in the wrong direction, poorly joined or installed over inadequate preparation, putting it right can involve considerably more work.
We've seen situations where poor original workmanship has meant that parts of the installation have had to be carefully dismantled before they could be repaired properly. In some cases, the grass itself has to be replaced because there simply isn't a good way to correct what was done originally.
That's why we assess the whole installation rather than simply treating the visible damage.

Edge Repairs
Edges can lift, become loose or suffer damage through everyday use, landscaping work or pets. We can assess the affected area and repair or re-secure it where practical.
Patch Repairs
Localised damage doesn't necessarily mean replacing the whole lawn. Where suitable matching grass is available, we can cut out the damaged section and install a replacement piece.
Burn Damage
BBQs, cigarettes, fire and other sources of heat can damage artificial grass. Depending on the size and position of the damage, the affected area may be repairable.
Pet Damage
Digging, scratching and repeated use can damage artificial grass, particularly around edges. We assess the damage and advise whether a local repair or another solution is appropriate.
Drainage Problems
Waterlogging can indicate a problem with drainage beneath the grass rather than the grass itself. We investigate the installation to identify the likely cause and advise what can realistically be done.
Subsidence & Uneven Areas
If the ground beneath an installation settles, the grass can become uneven or develop low areas. Where appropriate, we can lift the affected section, address the underlying problem and re-lay the grass.
Building & Renovation Damage
Building work, extensions, pool work and other construction projects can damage an existing artificial grass installation. We assess the extent of the damage and advise whether repair, partial re-laying or replacement is the better option.

Decide on the Best Solution
We explain what we believe is realistically possible. That may be a repair, partial re-lay or, where repair is unlikely to give a good result, replacement.

Complete the Repair
We carry out the agreed repair carefully, paying particular attention to joins, edges, cuts and the surrounding grass so the repaired area integrates as well as possible with the existing installation.
An Honest Assessment, Not an Automatic Replacement
Not every damaged installation needs a new lawn. Equally, not every repair is worth carrying out. We look at the type of damage, its extent, the age and condition of the existing grass, the quality of the original installation and whether suitable matching material is available.
Sometimes a relatively small repair can solve the problem. In other cases, repairing one area simply won't address the underlying issue, and replacing part or all of the installation may be the more sensible option. We'll explain what we find and recommend the solution we believe is right for your installation.
